[Verse 1]
She turned around in the seawater, which was up to her ankles, with sparkling eyes and asked, “Can you swim?”
“Unfortunately, no, I can’t,” I replied with a wry smile.
“Huh? I was thinking of swimming with you,” she said. Then she added, “Well, wait a minute,” and went off somewhere.
[Pre-Chorus 1]
She returned with two sets of goggles and snorkels, along with a pole taller than she was. She handed me a set of goggles and a snorkel.
[Chorus 1]
“Okay, now I’m going to start some intensive training. Follow me,” she said with a smile and headed out to sea. I put on the goggles and snorkel and followed her. When the seawater reached her chest, she asked, “Try swimming a bit. You can breathe, right?”
“Let’s go!” she said.
[Verse 2]
She swam further and further out to sea. The bottom of the sea visible through the goggles got farther away, and when it was so deep that we could never reach it with our feet, she stood the pole up from the bottom and said, “When you get tired of swimming, hold on to this pole.”
[Pre-Chorus 2]
I grabbed the pole while standing in the water and thought to myself, “I see. We can go anywhere within the length of this pole.” She is intelligent.
[Chorus 2]
“Look! There are so many fish swimming!” she exclaimed with genuine joy. With schools of fish and seaweed swaying in the water, the sea was a paradise for marine life. We lost track of time as we watched. “You’re the most beautiful and graceful swimmer in this ocean,” I thought to myself.
[Instrumental Solo]
[Verse 3]
“Are you hungry?” she asked. “I’ve brought you some lunch,” she said. We swam toward the shore, returned the goggles and snorkels, and went back to our car, where we took our lunches and laid out a mat in the shade of a tree. A rice ball the size of our faces emerged from her lunch box.
[Pre-Chorus 3]
“Wow! It’s big!” I exclaimed. “You’re going to eat this much?”
“We get hungry after swimming, so today is special!” she replied.
[Chorus 3]
“Don’t worry, I promise my proportions won’t change,” she said with a meaningful wink. My stomach and heart were filled with her lovely rice ball. The size of the rice ball matched the size of her love. It was her message for me to receive her affection. Yes, she was intelligent.
[Instrumental Solo]
[Final Chorus]
It was her message for me to receive her love. Yes, she was intelligent.
I am at your mercy. Are you Minerva, the goddess of wisdom?
It was her message for me to receive her love. Yes, she was intelligent.
